Many people in Seminole County struggle with unemployment, medical issues, unforeseen emergencies, and some of our most vulnerable suffer - our children. Alaqua Lakes Ladies Association has a solid history of partnering with the following quality organizations in our community to address these needs.
The Sharing Center of Seminole County
Last year, The Sharing Center served over 20,000 people in Seminole County who needed a hand up, not a hand out. Essential resources such as food, clothing and financial assistance are provided to those in need. Alaqua Lakes Ladies Association collects food pantry supplies, personal hygiene and toiletry items for The Sharing Center on an on-going basis.
